01The short version
This site doesn't ask you for anything. There's no signup form, no newsletter box, no tracking pixel selling you to advertisers. If you want in, you click through to Skool and give them your information under their policy. That's it.
The rest of this page explains the small amount of information that still moves around when anyone visits any website, and what we do and don't do with it.
02What we collect directly
Nothing, unless you email us. There are no forms on this site. We don't ask for your name, email, phone number, or payment information anywhere on profitsthroughpurpose.com.
If you email chris@profitsthroughpurpose.com, we'll obviously have your email address and whatever you wrote. We use it to reply to you and nothing else.
03What gets collected automatically
Like every website, this one is served by a host, and hosts keep basic server logs. These can include your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you viewed, and the time you viewed them. This site is hosted on GitHub Pages, and those logs are kept by GitHub under their privacy practices. We don't have access to a dashboard of who visited.
We load fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser requests those fonts, Google receives your IP address. We don't send Google anything else and we get nothing back.
If we add analytics later — and we may — we'll update this page and say what's running before we run it.
04Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing in your browser to identify you. Your browser may remember your light/dark theme preference locally on your device. That never leaves your device and we can't read it.
05Third parties you may end up with
Clicking a link on this site can hand you off to a company with its own policy. The main ones:
- Skool — where the community lives. If you join, Skool collects your account information under Skool's privacy policy.
- Trustpilot — the review links on this site point to publicly posted reviews hosted by Trustpilot.
- Social platforms — Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and similar, if you follow a link out.
We don't control any of them. Read their policies if that matters to you, and it should.
06What we never do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it, trade it, or share it with data brokers. We have no advertising partners receiving data from this site.
We would disclose information only if the law required it, or if it were genuinely necessary to protect someone's safety or our legal rights.
07Your rights
Depending on where you live — California, Virginia, Colorado, the EU, the UK, and others — you may have the right to ask what personal information a business holds about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to opt out of its sale. We don't sell anything, and we hold almost nothing. If you want to know what we have on you or want it deleted, email chris@profitsthroughpurpose.com and we'll handle it. We won't treat you differently for asking.
08Children
This site is not for anyone under 18 and we don't knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we'll delete it.
09Security
The site is served over HTTPS. That said, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security of anything sent to us by email.
10Changes
If our practices change — especially if we add a form, analytics, or a pixel — we'll update this page and change the date at the top. Questions go to chris@profitsthroughpurpose.com.
